My father served on the odax ss 484 in the korean war 52-56, his name was duane jewell. Does anyone remember him or have photos from that time frame? Thank you

I JUST DISCOVERED THIS SITE TODAY. SOME ONE HAS DONE A GREAT JOB.. I WAS ABOARD THE ODAX FROM FEB '58 UNTIL JAN '61. I'LL BE CHECKING BACK REGULARLLY. WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANY SHIPMATES.

My Dad, Gerald Von Anderson served aboard USS ODAX - I believe, in yrs 1946 - 48? His name does not appear on the crew list. Am I mistaken about his boat?
