My father served on the oak from 1952-1956 in the korean war as a submarine cook. His name is Duane Jewell. Does anyone remember him? Thank you

I am reported the passing of a ODAX shipmate that I later served with aboard USS Sea Robin from 1965-67.

My father was Julian Platon, who served onbaord the SS Odax in the fifties sometime. I would appreciate any recollections of his service. I know only that it was one of the happiest times of his life and I wear his Odax necklace to this day!

Alive and well in Colorado Springs. Yes Luther we are certainly getting old. I see several names in these mesages that I remember from our error of time. Best wishes to all that served. I left my mark on the ODAX's when I painted the Rock Crushers white.
